We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our team on a full-time contract basis, reporting directly to the Head of Product. This is a fully remote role open to candidates in Canada or the USA, with the expectation of being available during Eastern Time Zone (EST) working hours. Role Overview
As a Junior Project Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting software development projects by ensuring the on-time delivery and accuracy of key deliverables. You will collaborate closely with development teams, product owners, and key stakeholders, helping to track progress, streamline workflows, and facilitate clear communication.

Key Responsibilities
✅ Project Coordination & Execution
• Assist in planning, executing, and tracking multiple software projects.
• Ensure timely delivery of milestones by coordinating between development teams and product owners.
• Monitor project timelines, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues when necessary.
✅ Stakeholder Communication
• Act as a liaison between development teams, product owners, and key stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on project status and identify potential roadblocks early.
• Maintain project documentation, including requirements, scope changes, and progress reports.
✅ Process Optimization
• Help improve agile workflows to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
• Support the organization of sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Identify and recommend process improvements in software delivery.
✅ Risk Management & Problem-Solving
• Track project risks and proactively find solutions with internal teams.
• Maintain issue logs and follow up on action items to ensure resolution.
✅ Reporting & Leadership Support
• Report directly to the Head of Product, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Assist in compiling reports, insights, and performance tracking related to project execution.
• Support strategic decision-making by providing clear visibility into project health and priorities.

Qualifications & Skills
✔ Experience in project coordination or project management in a technology/software environment.
✔ Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects.
✔ Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and software development processes.
✔ Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
✔ Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday.com).
✔ Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment while maintaining strong team engagement.
✔ Based in Canada or the USA, with availability during Eastern Time Zone (EST) working hours.
✔ A Bachelor’s degree is not mandatory but is considered a plus
✔ PMP, CSM (Certified Scrum Master), or other project management certifications are a plus
